I was a birth doula for 13 years of my life, attending 250+ births in the Denver area between 2008 and 2021. This a very special mural I was commissioned to do for one of my favorite freestanding birth centers, Seasons Birth Center.
This piece blends the seasons, lunar cycles (often associated with menstruation cycles), and a newborn baby within a map of the world.
